10 hari Island-wide Rentak: Relaxed

10-Day Halal Bali Itinerary

Ten days across the whole island plus Nusa Penida: the south, Ubud, the volcano, the east coast and the north, with rest days built in and halal food and prayer covered throughout.

With ten days you can add the two things every shorter Bali trip has to cut: the offshore islands and the north coast. It also means you can build in rest days, which is what actually makes a long tropical trip enjoyable. This plan moves four times and gives each region enough nights to be worth the drive.

Sesuai untuk

  • Longer holidays and honeymoons with time to spare
  • Travellers who want Nusa Penida and the north, not just the south
  • Families or couples who want rest days, not a route march

Sorotan

Nusa Penida: Kelingking, Diamond Beach and Crystal Bay
Mount Batur sunrise
The north: Sekumpul waterfall and Ulun Danu Beratan on the lake
Three nights to do nothing at the end

Hari demi hari

1

Hari 1: Arrival, Kuta and Seminyak

Pagi

Land, pray, transfer, check in.

Tengah hari

Beach and a walk. Nothing ambitious.

Petang

Dinner in Seminyak — the widest halal choice on the island.

🕌 Solat

Airport prayer rooms; mosques and mushollas across Kuta and Seminyak

2

Hari 2: The Bukit: Uluwatu, Melasti, Pandawa

Pagi

The southern beaches, early, before the sun turns brutal.

Tengah hari

Lunch and Dhuhr at Nusa Dua.

Petang

Uluwatu clifftop sunset, dinner at Jimbaran Bay.

🕌 Solat

Masjid Agung Ibnu Batutah at Puja Mandala, Nusa Dua

3

Hari 3: Move to Sanur

Pagi

Check out and drive across to Sanur — under an hour.

Tengah hari

Sanur is the calmest beach town in south Bali: a flat, walkable seafront path, a reef that kills the surf, and no nightlife to speak of.

Petang

Early dinner, early night. Tomorrow's boat to Nusa Penida leaves from the harbour a few minutes away.

🍽️ Makanan halal

Halal restaurants around Sanur

🕌 Solat

Mosques and mushollas in Sanur and Denpasar

4

Hari 4: Nusa Penida day trip

Pagi

The fast boat from Sanur takes about 45 minutes. On the island, go west first: Kelingking Beach — the cliff shaped like a dinosaur's back — then Broken Beach and Angel's Billabong.

Tengah hari

Crystal Bay for a swim, or east to Diamond Beach if you would rather see the other coast. Do not attempt both coasts in one day; the island's roads are worse than they look.

Petang

Back on the afternoon boat to Sanur. Dinner in town.

🕌 Solat

Bring a prayer mat; Penida has few facilities outside the main village

5

Hari 5: North to Ubud

Pagi

Check out, drive up through Gianyar, stopping at Tegenungan waterfall.

Tengah hari

Tegallalang rice terraces, then check into Ubud.

Petang

Ubud market street and dinner.

🕌 Solat

Mushollas near the Ubud market and along the main road

6

Hari 6: Mount Batur sunrise

Pagi

2am pickup, sunrise on the summit over Lake Batur, breakfast looking down at the caldera.

Tengah hari

Back to Ubud and sleep. This is a rest afternoon, by necessity.

Petang

Quiet dinner in Ubud.

🕌 Solat

Pray Fajr before the trek; guides expect it and will wait

7

Hari 7: The north: Sekumpul and the mountain lakes

Pagi

A long day trip north. Sekumpul is the most spectacular waterfall in Bali and the walk in is real — steps, a river crossing, and a climb back out.

Tengah hari

Ulun Danu Beratan on the way home: the temple that appears to float on Lake Bratan, in the cool mountain air at 1,200m.

Petang

Late return to Ubud. Eat close to the hotel.

🕌 Solat

Combine Dhuhr and Asr on the road if travelling; the north has few mushollas between towns

8

Hari 8: Move to Nusa Dua

Pagi

Check out of Ubud, drive south (allow two hours).

Tengah hari

Check into Nusa Dua. This is the easiest area in Bali for a Muslim traveller: a mosque in the Puja Mandala complex, resorts used to halal requests, and a calm, swimmable beach.

Petang

Dinner on the resort strip.

🕌 Solat

Masjid Agung Ibnu Batutah at Puja Mandala

9

Hari 9: Nothing

Pagi

Beach. Pool. Breakfast twice.

Tengah hari

Optional: the water sports at Tanjung Benoa next door, or a spa afternoon. Optional means optional.

Petang

Sunset at Pandawa or a long dinner. This is the day you will remember.

🕌 Solat

Masjid Agung Ibnu Batutah at Puja Mandala

10

Hari 10: Home

Pagi

A last swim, souvenirs at the Bali Collection or Krisna in Kuta.

Tengah hari

Nusa Dua to the airport is about 30 minutes — the shortest transfer on the island.

Petang

Pray before check-in.

🕌 Solat

Prayer rooms at Ngurah Rai airport, landside and airside

Tip

  • 💡 Nusa Penida is a full day and a rough boat. If anyone in your group gets seasick, take the morning crossing — the afternoon sea is worse.
  • 💡 Ten days is long enough for the weather to turn. Keep the flexible days (7 and 9) as buffers, and swap them if a storm lands.
  • 💡 End in the south, not the mountains. A 30-minute transfer on departure day is a gift to yourself.

Soalan lazim

Is 10 days too long in Bali?

No — ten days is when you get Nusa Penida, the north coast and real rest days, none of which fit into a week. The trap is not length, it is over-scheduling: keep two days deliberately empty and the trip pays you back.

Is Nusa Penida halal-friendly?

Nusa Penida is undeveloped compared with Bali and halal restaurants and prayer facilities are scarce outside the main village. Treat it as a day trip: eat before you board, carry a prayer mat and water, and return to Sanur for dinner.
