The oldest mosque in Bali, in Kampung Gelgel just south of Semarapura (Klungkung). Founded in the 14th century by Javanese soldiers who settled here under the Gelgel kingdom, it is still the heart of Bali's oldest Muslim village — a short detour off the road to Padangbai and Candidasa.
